IPTV Nord Privacy Policy

How IPTV Nord collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit iptvnord.ca, order a plan, ask for a trial or talk to our support team.

Last updated: September 28, 2026

The short version: this privacy policy explains that we collect only what we need to set up your service and answer you, mainly your name, email, phone number and order details. We never sell your information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can ask to see, fix or delete your information at any time by writing to help@supportiptv.ca.

Who this policy covers and which laws apply

This policy covers iptvnord.ca, our order and request forms, our emails and our Live Chat at supportiptv.ca. It is written for people in Canada.

We handle personal information under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you live in Quebec, you also have the rights given by Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as updated by Law 25.

What information we collect

We collect what you give us, plus a little technical information.

  • Orders: your full name, email, phone number, the plan, number of devices and channel package you chose, whether you are new or extending, your current username if you give it, and your order number.
  • Free trial requests: your name, email, phone number if you add it, and the device, app and province you pick.
  • Contact and reseller forms: your name, email, phone number if you add it, the topic and your message.
  • Live Chat: the mobile number you use to open the chat, your messages, and the trials and logins we send you there.
  • Payments: when you send an Interac e-Transfer, your bank shows us the sender name, the amount, the date and your message. We never see your card number, bank account number or online banking password.
  • Technical details: when you send a form, our host tells us the country your connection comes from. We use your IP address for about 10 minutes to block spam, and we do not store it with your order.
  • Anonymous click events: when you tap a button such as Live Chat, your browser sends our own endpoint the page, the button label and a random session number. That number sits in your browser's session storage, not in a cookie, and is gone when you close the tab. No name, email or phone is included.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived security cookie to tell real visitors from bots.

Why we use your information

We use your information to provide the service you asked for, and for nothing else:

  • to create, activate, extend and support your login;
  • to match your Interac e-Transfer to your order;
  • to send your login, trial details and answers by email or in Live Chat;
  • to handle refunds, cancellations and reseller panels, and to stop fraud and spam;
  • to count, without knowing who you are, which pages and buttons people use;
  • to keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.

We only email you about your order, trial or question. We do not send marketing emails unless you agree first.

Who we share it with

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run IPTV Nord, and only what each one needs:

  • Cloudflare, our website host, which processes every request to iptvnord.ca and runs our order form.
  • Google, whose Apps Script email service sends each order and form notification to our team's inbox. If we turn on web statistics, the anonymous click events above are also passed to Google Analytics, without cookies.
  • Our email provider, which handles messages sent to help@supportiptv.ca.
  • ITLOGY LLC, which receives Interac e-Transfers for IPTV Nord and sees the payment details your bank sends.
  • The streaming platform that runs your login, which receives only what it needs to create the account, such as a username, the plan length and the number of devices.

We may also share information when a law, a court order or a government authority requires it, or to protect our customers and our service from fraud.

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where local courts and authorities may be able to reach it.

How long we keep your information

We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete it or make it anonymous.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • see the personal information we hold about you and how we used it;
  • correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent. We then stop using your information, but we may not be able to keep your service running without a way to reach you.

Email help@supportiptv.ca with the subject "Privacy request" from the address you used with us, or ask in Live Chat from the mobile number linked to your account. We may ask a question to confirm it is you, then answer within 30 days, free of charge. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Extra rights for Quebec residents

If you live in Quebec, Law 25 also lets you receive your information in a structured, commonly used format, and ask us to send it to another organization. You can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. We do not make decisions about you using automated processing alone.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information:

  • every page and form uses an encrypted HTTPS connection;
  • our order form only accepts requests from our own website and blocks automated spam;
  • no card or bank details pass through our site, because you pay from your own bank app;
  • only team members who need your details to help you can see them.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the privacy regulator, as the law requires.

Children

IPTV Nord is for adults 18 and older, as our terms and conditions explain. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

How to contact us about privacy

Send privacy questions and requests to help@supportiptv.ca with the subject "Privacy request". Our person in charge of the protection of personal information reads these messages and answers in English or French. You can also reach us through our contact page.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our service or the law changes, and the date at the top shows the current version. If a change affects information you already gave us, we will tell you by email or in Live Chat before it applies.
