MAG Box IPTV Setup and Formuler MyTVOnline Guide (2026)

What you need before you start

• A MAG box by Infomir or a Formuler box with MyTVOnline, connected to the TV by HDMI
• The MAC address from the label under the box. On a Formuler, use the MAC ID that starts with 00:1A.
• An IPTV Nord plan or a free 24-hour trial. Give us the MAC when you order or ask for the trial.
• An Ethernet cable to the router if you can. Some MAG models have no built-in Wi-Fi.

How to set up a MAG box or Formuler for IPTV

Steps 1 to 3 are the same for both boxes. MAG owners then follow steps 4 to 6, and Formuler owners steps 7 and 8. Our Live Chat team can check your MAC on our side while you type.

1. Find the MAC address of your box

   Turn the box over: the label shows MAC: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. On a MAG you can also press SET and open Device info. On a Formuler, the MAC ID starting with 00:1A is on the sticker and on the portal connection screen in MyTVOnline. Write it in capitals with colons, like 00:1A:79:AB:12:CD.

2. Send the MAC address to IPTV Nord

   Add the MAC to your order notes or send it in Live Chat, and we register it on our portal. Check each character twice: a zero and the letter O, or an 8 and a B, are easy to mix up. A photo of the label works too.

3. Wait for the email with your portal URL

   Activation usually takes 15 to 30 minutes during support hours (7 days a week, 9 a.m. to midnight (Eastern Time)). The email contains your portal URL. It looks like a web address and often ends in /c/. Type it exactly as written, including http:// at the start.

4. MAG: open System settings

   Press SET (called Setup or Services on some older remotes). You can also go to the main menu, choose Settings and then System settings.

5. MAG: add the portal under Servers, Portals

   Select Servers, then Portals. In Portal 1 name, type IPTV Nord. In Portal 1 URL, type the portal URL from our email. Leave Portal 2 empty and press OK to save.

6. MAG: restart the portal

   Go back to System settings and choose Restart portal, or Reboot device if you prefer a full restart. The box now loads the IPTV Nord portal with live channels, the TV guide and video on demand. The first load can take a minute.

7. Formuler: open the connection screen in MyTVOnline

   Open MyTVOnline and find the screen where connections are added. It depends on your version:

   • MyTVOnline 2: Menu, Connections.
   • MyTVOnline 3: Menu, Content Manager, Content Sources.
   • MyTVOnline 4: Menu, Settings, App Settings, Content Sources.

8. Formuler: add the portal, or sign in with Xtream Codes

   Choose Add Portal and give it a name such as IPTV Nord. For the MAC portal, type the portal URL from our email and select Connect. For Xtream Codes instead, type the server URL as the portal URL, turn on the option that says a login is required, enter your username and password, then select Connect. Channels and the TV guide load in a minute or two.

Why do we need your MAC address?

We need your MAC address because a MAG portal recognizes the box itself, not a username and password, so the portal only opens for a MAC we have registered.

A MAC address is a code built into the box's network port. Infomir, the company that makes MAG boxes, uses the prefix 00:1A:79 on every unit, which is why yours starts that way. Formuler gives MyTVOnline its own MAC ID in the same format, and that is the one to send us, not the network MAC from the Android settings.

• One MAC per box. Each box counts as one device on your plan, and a second box needs its own MAC.
• New box, new MAC. If you replace or repair the box, send us the new MAC and we move your plan to it.
• Keep it private. Treat the MAC and portal URL like a password, and do not post photos of the label online.

Portal or Xtream Codes: which should you use on a Formuler?

Both work well on a Formuler; the MAC portal needs us to register the box first, while Xtream Codes starts right away because you only type a username and password.

Fix common MAG and Formuler problems

Most MAG and Formuler problems come from a MAC that is not registered yet or a small typo in the portal URL, and both take a minute to fix.

Which MAG and Formuler boxes work with IPTV Nord?

Any MAG box that lets you add an external portal in System settings works with IPTV Nord, and so does any Formuler box that runs MyTVOnline.

Older MAG models still play live TV well, but their menus can feel slow with a large channel list; the English Channels Only package gives a shorter list if that matters to you. On Formuler, MyTVOnline 3 is made for the Z11 Pro and Z11 Pro Max, and MyTVOnline 4 is Formuler's newest app, so the menus in step 7 depend on your model.
