How do I cancel an IPTV subscription?
How do you cancel an IPTV subscription?
Find out how you are billed, and cancel it in that place. Deleting the app does not stop a payment.
| How you pay | How to cancel |
|---|---|
| A card on the provider's website | Cancel in your account or billing page, or ask support in writing. Keep the confirmation and check your next statement. |
| Google Play | In the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel. |
| Apple App Store | Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, pick the subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. |
| A TV company such as Bell, TELUS or Rogers | Contact the company. Ask about any contract fee and whether you must return a rented box. |
| An e-Transfer or cash to a seller | Nothing to stop. Simply do not renew, or ask the seller to switch the login off early. |
For the big TV companies, you do not have to give 30 days' notice: the CRTC stopped TV providers from requiring it in January 2015, as its page on changing your TV service provider explains. If a card is still charged after you cancelled, contact the provider with your confirmation first, then your card issuer.
How do you disconnect IPTV from your TV and devices?
Remove your login from each app, then uninstall the app if you no longer need it.
- Open the IPTV app's settings, playlist list or user list, select your account and delete it, on every device where you signed in.
- Uninstall the player app if you will not use it with another service.
- Before selling or giving away the device, do a factory reset.
The device keeps working for everything else, such as Netflix or YouTube. Moving to another provider instead? See how to switch IPTV providers, since you can often keep the same app.
Can you get a refund when you cancel?
It depends on the provider's written policy, so read it before you pay. Many independent services give no refunds at all, and app store subscriptions usually stay active until the end of the paid period, then stop without a refund. That is one more reason to start with a short plan.
How do you cancel IPTV Nord?
You do not need to: IPTV Nord has no automatic renewal, so when your plan ends, the login simply stops. You pay once by Interac e-Transfer, so there is no card to stop.
- Before activation: send us your order number, which starts with NRD, and we cancel it and return your full payment. See order cancellation.
- After activation: within 7 days, if the service does not work on your device and support could not fix it, our refund policy gives you a full refund. Otherwise the login runs to its end date, or we switch it off early if you ask.
- Free trial: it needs no payment and ends by itself after 24 hours.

Do I need to cancel a free IPTV trial?
Only if the trial took your card details. Then cancel before it ends, or it may turn into a paid plan. A trial with no payment, like the IPTV Nord 24-hour trial, ends by itself and there is nothing to cancel. Either way, delete the trial login from your apps afterwards.
Can I pause an IPTV subscription instead of cancelling?
Some providers allow a pause, but many do not, so ask before you cancel. With plans that do not renew automatically, such as IPTV Nord, you do not need a pause: let the plan end, then order again whenever you are ready. There is no fee for leaving or for coming back later.
