How do I change the Wi-Fi on my IPTV box?
Where is the Wi-Fi setting on each IPTV box?
The Wi-Fi setting sits in the network menu of the device itself. Names differ a little between models and software versions.

How do you move an IPTV box to a new router?
Join the new network from the box's settings in four short steps.
Get the exact network name and password
They are usually on a sticker under the router. Capital letters and symbols matter.
Pick the 5 GHz network if you see two names
5 GHz is faster and less crowded near the TV. 2.4 GHz reaches farther through walls, so use it if the TV is far from the router.
Connect, then forget the old network
Forgetting the old network stops the box from jumping back to it later.
Restart the box and open your IPTV app
Play a live channel for a minute. Your login is the same, so nothing needs to be typed again.
What if the box will not connect, or the remote is lost?
Get the box online another way first, then change the Wi-Fi.
- Plug in Ethernet. MAG boxes and most Android TV boxes have a network port, and Fire TV Sticks take Amazon's Ethernet adapter. Many people then stay on the cable, which is steadier for live TV.
- Lost Fire TV remote? The Fire TV phone app needs the same network as the stick. Start a phone hotspot with the old Wi-Fi name and password so the stick joins it, connect a second phone with the Fire TV app to that hotspot, and change the network in Settings, Network.
- Still offline? Restart the router, check the password again, and read why IPTV stops working.
