Does IPTV include Netflix and other streaming apps?
What is the difference between an IPTV movie library and Netflix?
An IPTV movie library is a collection chosen by your IPTV provider and played inside your IPTV app. Netflix is a separate company with its own shows, its own app and its own account. Your IPTV login never opens Netflix, and your Netflix password never opens IPTV channels.

Can Netflix and an IPTV app run on the same device?
Yes. Netflix, Crave, Disney+ and IPTV player apps all install on the common streaming devices, so one TV can hold all of them. How you switch depends on the device:
- Fire TV Stick: press Home, open Netflix from your apps row, then press Home again to go back to your IPTV app. Our Fire TV Stick setup guide covers the IPTV side.

- Samsung and LG Smart TVs: Netflix is often already installed. The IPTV player comes from the TV's own app store.
Netflix keeps a list of supported devices and warns that some TVs and streaming devices made before 2015 may no longer run it.
Can you get Hulu in Canada?
Not as its own app. Hulu is not sold as a separate service in Canada. Since October 2025, Hulu shows in Canada appear in a Hulu section inside Disney+, which replaced the older Star section. An IPTV plan does not add Hulu, the same way it does not add Netflix.
Should you keep your streaming apps when you get IPTV?
Keep the ones you use every week and drop the rest. Many Canadian homes use IPTV for live TV, sports and news, then keep one streaming app for the series they follow. Streaming apps usually renew every month on your card, so they are easy to pause and restart between seasons. IPTV Nord plans never renew on their own, because you pay each one by Interac e-Transfer.
Two things to plan for:
- Internet. Netflix on one TV and IPTV on another means two streams at once, so your internet has to carry both. See how much data IPTV uses if your plan has a monthly cap.
- Screens. Your IPTV plan's device count only covers IPTV. Netflix and the others have their own limits on how many screens can watch at once.

Can I sign in to Netflix inside my IPTV app?
No. IPTV player apps such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro only read IPTV logins: an Xtream Codes username, password and server address, or an M3U playlist link. Netflix plays only in the Netflix app or on its website. You keep both apps on the same device and switch between them.
Does IPTV include YouTube?
No. YouTube is a separate app from Google. It is free to watch with ads, and it installs on the same Fire TV Stick, Android TV box, Apple TV or Smart TV as your IPTV app. Open it from the home screen when you want it, then go back to your live channels.
